At MEALS.

I.
1 FATHER, our Eyes we lift to Thee,
2 And taste our daily Bread:
3 'Tis now thy Open Hand we see,
4 And on thy Bounty feed.
II.
5 'Tis now the meaner Creatures join
6 Richly thy Grace to prove;
7 Fulfil thy primitive Design,
8 Enjoy'd by thankful Love.
III.
9 Still, while our Mouths are fill'd with Good,
10 Our Souls to Thee we raise;
11 Our Souls partake of nobler Food,
12 And banquet on thy Praise.
IV.
13 Yet higher still our farthest Aim;
14 To mingle with the Blest,
15 T' attend the Marriage of the Lamb,
16 And Heaven's Eternal Feast.
